Very little chance this week to work on any new stuff (although I have much to go over and process from Death Valley), so back to my archives for this week's SkyWatch.I don't produce as many seascapes as I probably should considering where I live, but whenever I have the inspiration and a prospect of some interesting weather, this is my "go to" spot, just a few minutes from home... no matter how many times I return here it always seems to look different. (I published a whole sequence from one afternoon at the same spot back in February, if any newer readers are interested and haven't seen these yet.)

That is beautiful...I love the composition/perspective. It almost feels as though one is soaring over the water, or, what a gull sees. Very very nice photo...
This sure looks like a wonderful "go to" spot. Funny how we seem to travel away from home to see landscapes when we have great ones in our own back yard.

Great shot Mark - I adore the foreground interest of those mussels on the rock.
It gives my eye something to see and dwell on as I'm lead in to the picture by it, then on to the three rock clumps and up into that gorgeous sky.
It's made a real connection for me. Nice one!
Just being picky, you need a very slight anti-clockwise rotation to straighten the horizon.
