Texture Riot in the Rainforest

I made quite a few nice additions to my waterfall collection while up in the Olympic Peninsula. Without checking my notes (there were so many), I recall that this one is called Merryman Falls... one of quite a few found around the Lake Quinault area. My point of interest here was not so much about the falls itself, but the crazy lushness and detail of the rainforest in the surrounding scene.

That rainforest puts me on overload. The massive and miniscule covers everything in infinite shades of green invigorated by water.

Greetings from the Amish community of Lebanon Pennsylvania. I'm just stopping at Radom blogs and checking them out, and wishing everyone a very Merry Christmas and New years. Richard from Amish Stories.

like the positioning of the twa trees and the waterfall... for me because of the way you have handled the contrast in both my eye bounces back and forth between the fall and the trees keeping my eye in the shot.... nice one!!
